At just under 1000 metres altitude, the village lies at the end of the Voldertal valley and directly at the foot of the 2677 metre high Glungezer – a mountain in the Tux Alps. Even the neighboring Patscherkofel is certainly familiar to experienced skiers. The Glugenzer is part of a small and natural ski area in which the familiar and charming atmosphere makes the mountain even more popular for leisurely recreational skiers.
